Well, so much for actually updating this journal on a regular basis.

Senior year is here and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. It is a fair bit lonelier this year, because most of my friends were a year older than me and have now gone to college. Though I have to say, being a senior does have some serious perks. I am really enjoying having some new kids on the drumline. I've known them for about 6 weeks now and I've watched them get better and better on their instruments. They're a great group of percussionists and I'm convinced that my classmates and I will be leaving the line in safe hands.

The class schedule for this year is:

1st hour: Physics aide for Mrs. Ingle (because she's awesome)
2nd hour: Concert band (we have 15 percussionists in one band. CRAZY)
3rd hour: AP Government (great discussions, I'm really looking forward to the rest of this semester)
4th hour: Dual Credit Anatomy & Physiology (lots of juniors and seniors in here, very mixed group)
5th hour: English IV Gifted and Talented (I love my GT family)
6th hour: Digital Graphics and Animation (I've met two of the most epic freshmen ever in this class)
7th hour: Spanish II Honors (is seriously going to kick my ass. The last time I took Spanish I was a freshman.)

Other than that I'm now carpooling with a great friend of mine (we both drive a standard transmission) in his beat up old Honda Civic from 1998 and my dorky little Nissan Versa that I named Eugene.

This year should be a wild ride, but I'll do my best to survive without any serious mental or physical injuries. And who knows? It might even be fun! Let's kick it Sen10rs!
